Eric Ridilla

Board of Directors President / Founder

Eric, a dedicated Army aviator with an impressive 28-year military career, has always had a deep passion for aviation and an unwavering admiration for the "Greatest Generation" and the heroes of World War II. This love for history and aviation ultimately led him on a remarkable journey to fulfill a lifelong dream: to own and preserve a piece of history, an aircraft from the era that defined the course of the world.

Eric's dream became a reality after several years of tireless searching when he finally discovered the perfect aircraft, known as "The Bamboo Bomber." This cherished find would not only be a symbol of his dedication to preserving history but also a testament to his unyielding commitment to the world of aviation.

As the President of Wings of War, Eric has made it his mission to keep the incredible history of aviation alive for generations to come. Through this organization, he seeks to honor the brave men and women who served during World War II, showcasing their courage, sacrifice, and the remarkable aircraft that played a pivotal role in the conflict.

However, Eric is quick to acknowledge that his dream and the noble mission of Wings of War would be impossible without the extraordinary dedication of a remarkable team of volunteers. These talented individuals have been with him since day one, sharing his vision and working tirelessly to restore and maintain these historical aircraft, ensuring that they continue to grace the skies and inspire future generations.

With Eric's leadership, Wings of War stands as a beacon of history and aviation, a living tribute to the heroes of World War II, and a testament to the power of passion and determination in preserving our shared heritage. Under his guidance, the organization continues to soar, both in the skies and in the hearts of those who value the preservation of history and the remarkable world of aviation.
